At the symposium "Social reforms in Europe“ held in Tallinn Marge Unt (Tallinn University) introduced the EuroCohort project to the attendees, including the member of European Parliament Dennis Radtke. The idea of Europe-wide cohort survey for children and youth was received with great interest.
The symposium "Social reforms in Europe“ hosted three speakers. Prof. Marge Unt, talked about inclusion of youth in Estonia and Europe. Estonian Gender Equality and Equal Treatment Commissioner Liisa Pakosta presentation was titled „How social should Europe be in future“. Lastly, Dennis Radtke, member of European Parliament, gave a presentation titled „Life is getting better, but not at the same speed for everyone“.
The symposium dedicated to the Europe Day, was organized by Baltisch-Deutsches Hochschulkontor in cooperation with Rotary Club Bochum-Rechen.
