On 1 November 2018, EuroCohort team lead from Daugavpils University professor Anita Stasulane participated in the seminar organized by H2020 Latvian National Coordination Point in Riga. In the second part of the event, titled the “open space” session, prof. Anita Stasulane introduced the participants – the representatives from the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science and academic staff members from educational and scientific institutions – the aims and potential benefits of EuroCohort. The presentation emphasized the importance of strong political commitment to protect the children and young people in the country and improve the quality of their lives.
The overall aim of the seminar and workshop was to inform the policy makers and scientific community about the possibilities in the field of the humanities and social sciences in the framework of European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme as well as to promote networking and experience exchange.
