EuroCohort longitudinal design as a tool in combating inequalities among youth

On 12 March 2019, Jaroslav Mihalik from UCM Slovakia presented EuroCohort research design at International Academic Conference: "Radicalization of Youth: Causes and Prevention." In his presentation, Jaroslav spoke about longitudinal studies as powerful tools to explore and understand patterns and causes of young people´s attitudes towards their lives. He stressed that longitudinal survey data may help us assess how individuals change over time and explore these long-terms effects also in relation to eventual radicalization and extremism among young people.

International Conference „Radicalization of Youth: Causes and Prevention“ was held from 12 to 14 of March in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. The main goal of the conference was to examine and discuss the key factors which trigger and fuel violent radicalisation and extremism of youth. The event was organized by IUVENTA- Slovak Youth Institute, Slovak National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme Youth and Sport (National Agency).
