EuroCohort project presented at a scientific seminar in Daugavpils University

ECDP team members Prof. Anita Stasulane and researchers Ilze Kacane and Alina Romanovska delivered a presentation “Improvement of Children’s Life Quality in Europe: European Cohort Development Project” in a scientific seminar “Past, Present, Future: Experiences and Perspectives of Interdisciplinarity”. During the presentation the goals of the project, team and the ways to meet to project objectives were introduced and discussed. The participants of the seminar debated on the way longitudinal studies for children and young people can be used for monitoring the wellbeing and evaluating the effectiveness of national policies, as well as on the importance and benefits of longitudinal studies and the impact of longitudinal surveys for making informed decisions about future policies.

The seminar was organized by Daugavpils University Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences and its aim was to inform the academic staff and researchers of the university on the projects carried out at the Institute.
