Jaroslav Mihalik from University of Saints Cyril and Methodius (Slovakia) presented EuroCohort at "The International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Challenges for European Economy" held in Celadna, Czech Republic from 3rd to 5th of September.

"The International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Challenges for European Economy" continues the long tradition of conferences held in the Czech Republic on topics related to Economic and Social Policy, Economic Policy in Transition Economies or in European Union Member Countries. The Conference is intended for academics, scientists and other professionals in the field of Economics, but also e.g. Law, Political Science, Sociology, or International Relations. In his presentation "Longitudinal research of children's quality of life and youth in Europe: The social and economic future of Europe" Jaroslav Mihalik talked about the current state of art of Eurocohort development putting specail emphasis on its pan-European importance, research design and piloting procedures.
