New SoGreen Tools to help researchers study Europe’s Green Transition

The SoGreen (Social Aspects of the Green Transition) project brings together Europe’s four leading social science infrastructures - European Social Survey, SHARE - Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe, Generations & Gender Programme, and Growing Up in Digital Europe (GUIDE) - to better understand how different generations and socioeconomic groups experience and respond to green transition policies, across time. Two new resources are now available from SoGreen to assist with understanding attitudes toward climate action and environmental policy and enhance consistency of green transition research:
New Cross-infrastructure Item Inventory: A collection of survey questions from Europe’s four leading social science infrastructures on environmental topics and a mapping of variables by domain and coverage.
New Cross-Study Data Guide: Where to find green transition items across ESS, GGP, SHARE & GUIDE: A quick reference showing where green transition data lives across these four major research projects, with links to datasets and documentation.
